WILKES-BARRE — The future of arena football may not be in question much longer.
For the last three years, the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers have been one of the most successful football teams in af2 racking up 57 wins, three straight American Conference East Division championships and two appearances in the ArenaCup, the league championship game.
The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers have been put up for sale, according to a press release sent out by owners Cos and Janet DeNicola.
