The awe and wonder of Neo Venezia reaches its peack, as Akari receives an invitation to the Neverland from Alicia. It turns out to be a surprise getaway, as Akarai has never swum in the true beauty ocean. But in the sweltering heat, Akari sees a vision that will lead to an unexpected discovery. "There is a feeling I get when reading this manga that I can't describe. It's the same feeling when I watch a Miyazaki film and I get taken away to that timeless and endless world. I highly recommend this wonderful book. A+" - www.aboutheroes.com

The art is flabbergastingly beautiful and awe inspiring, the dreaming inocent atmosphere takes one back in a nostalgic journey of wonder and surprise.

Fascinating less than a day after I post, and magically there appears a volume 5 listing. It would have taken, what, about 30 seconds to post something about it? Or apologize for the silence? -20 for customer relations, people, please don't go the ADV route on customer relations.

And now its September.... and still no updates on Aria 5 or the rest of the series? If you're not going to commit to the rest of the series, give it to someone who will. Its been over half a year since you missed your initial release date for Aria 5. You don't answer inquiries and there've been no news releases. Not making me want to commit to other Tokyopop titles with this nonsense.

Ummm...How's this manga is rated Older Teen anyway? I thought it's 13+ and isn't vol. 1 by ADV Manga????

The third printing is finally out (I wonder what happened to the second?), so my copy has just arrived. The scenery is beautiful as always, especially during the "Grandma" chapter. I can only guess that the "16+" rating has to do with the alchohol consumption. By now, I've seen anime episodes based on four of the five chapters, so it reads differently than if the material were entirely new to me, but still worthwhile.

Sooooooooo, been a long silence since, what, January??? What is the status of volume 5 and the rest of the ARIA series for that matter? Even an "alligators everywhere, please stand by" is better than complete silence. Some customer relations would be nice, eh?

Owning all the series, and having had watched the whole series, I'd say that this is one of the best of all I've seen. Luckily , I own it all, but in Japanese. I was gonna translate the series but I guess Tokyopop took that job. BTW, I wouldn't rate it 16+. It has absolutely swears or graphics, but I guess older teen means the audience it's for.

I see this (Aria volume 4, chapter 1) was one of the stories used for the first season of the Aria anime (Aria: the Animation), currently released in the US by Nozomi.
