      • The over-reaching responsibility of the V Corps Antiterrorism Branch is to protect over 42,000 Department of Defense (DoD) personnel and family members, information, and critical resources from asymmetrical attacks, accomplished through Antiterrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) planning and integration.  The Antiterrorism Branch provides guidance to Corps force protection personnel in applying force protection directives and policies consistent with the Commanding General’s goals and objectives.   This responsibility includes actions to counter, deter, and detect threats through deliberate analysis and planning, which is accomplished through threat and vulnerability-assessments (TVA), staff assistance visits (SAV) and the integration of force protection policies and systems to ensure that a comprehensive force protection program exists throughout
        V Corps.

      • Plan, coordinate, and assist Corps Commanders in the training, operations, resourcing, and synchronization of Army Aviation into the Corps battle.       • The G3 Plans functions as the principal V Corps staff agency in the preparation, review, and maintenance of Major Regional Contingency (MRC) Plans, Lesser Regional Contingency (LRC) plans, and other contingency planning.  The G3 Plans manages, coordinates, staffs, and publishes all war and contingency plans, which include JSCP and EUCOM requirements and Contingency plans derived from NATO and V Corps participation in JCS, NATO, and V Corps directed exercises.  The G3 Plans also present all plans briefings to subordinate commands and coordinates/reviews doctrinal war-fighting publications.

      • The Reserve Component Division (RCD) is the liaison for all Army National Guard and Army Reserve actions and issues in V Corps.  The RCD mission is to advise and support the V Corps Command and Staff on Reserve Component (ARNG/USAR) plans, policies and training; to integrate the Reserve Component (RC) into V Corps planning, training and operations.
