Just came across these videos, one of which was posted on the Team Liquid forums by SayaSP. No idea how these vids are done, but definitely pretty entertaining.

High five to the creator, polarity55, for making these wacky vids. Apparently there is a thread in the Tech Talk forums on SRK that explains how to do this with a hex editor, but SRK is down right now so I can’t link you.

With the new decade now in full effect, I thought it was fitting to put up what is THE match of 2009: Arturo Sanchez beating Daigo in a money match held during Evo weekend, July 19th, 2009.

In this match, Arturo challenges Daigo to a $100 money match, first to five wins. This was the same day as the Evo Street Fighter 4 finals, where Daigo went on to beat Justin Wong in the Grand Finals to win the whole tournament, beating out the 1,000+ other competitors.

What makes this match so special is that it’s not a tournament match so the set is longer, there are no cameras flashing, no stage, no sponsors, no multi-thousand dollar prize pot, no nothing. Just two of the best players in the world playing a set for a hundred bucks. This is what it’s all about.

Street-Fighter-Podcast-32-CoverThis episode’s guests are Sweden’s very own Skatan Milla and Yagami, two of the best players in the country. Skatan Milla uses Chun Li and Yagami uses Dhalsim. Both placed in Top 8 at Dreamhack Winter this past November and this podcast was recorded at Dragon’s Lair in Stockholm, Sweden in early December.

Topics covered include:

  • Dreamhack Winter 2009
  • The overall lack of players in Sweden
  • How to level up when you have little competition in the area

milesthumbMy dear friend and rock star Miles Mosley just re-designed and re-launched his site! For those not familiar, Miles wrote the little gootecks.com theme song for me that plays before all the podcasts and he’s scoring the soundtrack to the I Got Next fighting game documentary that Justin Wong, iloveu and I are in. He is one of Los Angeles’ hottest rising stars and always packs the house whenever he plays at various bars around Hollywood. Needless to say his music is godlike as you can see from this video after the jump for his song “LA Won’t Bring You Down” which is going to be the theme music for LA Riots from now on.

If you like what you hear, all you have to do is subscribe to his mailing list to get his most recent album for free!
