Squid was already starting to kill me, so I needed an outlet. I just started drawing and this came out. I had fun doing it, though it's not finished yet. It gave me a chance to play with some of my characters and draw the way I wanted without having to worry too much about layouts and tones. It might not make too much sense in some places, but I like it...

All of the art in here was done just for fun, as a break from inking and toning and getting everything just right...so, it was all done very quickly and meant to be sketchy. It's all mostly for my own entertainment, that's also why it's never updated anymore, lol

Good potential. I like how the outside cover is realistic. You might try this common tactic: using the outside realistic picture as a character in the manga, but always drawn very differently from the cover. I think you need to work on just everything you've already been doing to improve your pencil work, and after enough practice you should be able to draw the same stuff without the sketchiness and the art will be less time consuming.
