Omg! Scoop: Keri Russell joins Fox's 'Arrested Development' reunion!

9 hours ago | EW - Ausiello Files | See recent EW.com - The Ausiello Files news »

God loves me. And this next sentence proves it: Keri Russell is returning to television in a new Fox sitcom produced by Arrested Development creator Mitch Hurwitz and starring Will Arnett! He loves me! Sources confirm to me semi-exclusively that my reigning Bff is in final talks to play Arnett's love interest in Wilde Kingdom, the new single-camera romantic comedy pilot from Hurtwitz and fellow Arrested scribe James Vallely. Arnett also serves as a writer/producer. The project centers on Steve Wilde (Arnett), a wealthy, self-centered Beverly Hills playboy who falls for a selfless humanitarian (Russell). Despite the best efforts »

Sneak Peek – Lost 6.08 "Recon"

53 minutes ago | TVovermind.com | See recent TVovermind.com news »

Well last night's Lost episode ended with a bang, didn't it?  Widmore returning to the island?  To what end?  Is he there to take it over again?  Is he there to kill Ben (and maybe even everyone else)?

Besides the surprise ending, Ben-centric episodes are always a good exercise in character exploration.  It was nice to see off-island Ben redeem himself for his sins against Alex and to see on-island Ben admit that he's basically just as lost as the other castaways (no pun intended).

Finally, it was nice to see some of the group coming back together – to see Jack and Hurley reunite with Sun and Frank.  As the episodes wind down, I want to see more and more of the original castaways joining forces.

And, of course, the biggest question is: if Jacob touched Richard and made him immortal, did he also make Jack, Kate, Sawyer, Sayid, Jin, »

'16 and Pregnant' recap: You gotta do what you gotta do

1 hour ago | EW.com - PopWatch | See recent EW.com - PopWatch news »

Based on the show's title alone, you know the basics about last night's episode of 16 and Pregnant. What the title doesn't tell you is that the teen moms on the show can sometimes defy preconceived notions and make really good decisions. Case and point: Chelsea. Here's the backstory (and first half of the episode): Adam is Chelsea's boyfriend and the father of her child. Chelsea's dad does not like Adam because he's disrespectful, unreliable, and speaks condescendingly to his daughter (and, you know, knocked her up…). But after a private chat in the kitchen, Chelsea's dad is reasonably convinced »

'90210' recap: A new year, a new reality

1 hour ago | EW.com - PopWatch | See recent EW.com - PopWatch news »

While the last episode before winter break brought some much-needed resolution for West Beverly High, this week's episode proved that once that holiday spirit fades and the realities of a new year set in, relationships aren’t exactly what we thought they were. Recently reunited couple Liam and Naomi spent the break apart but remained together via nauseating amounts of texting. Despite both being excited to see one another, they shared an awkwardly silent dinner at the beach. Though they're attracted to one another, they faced the realization that maybe they just don’t have that much in common (but »

'Parenthood' - 'Man Vs. Possum' Recap

3 hours ago | AOL - TVSquad | See recent AOL - TVSquad news »

(S01E02) "I can deal with anything: disease, illness, broken bone. Give me something I can fix, but I don't know how to deal with this. This is for life." - Adam to Kristina after learning that Max has Asperger's Syndrome

Ferris Bueller once said, "Life moves by pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it."

And while that bit of movie trivia is actually true (unlike say "Stupid is as stupid does" or "Pain don't hurt"), if actual life went at the speed that 'Parenthood' does, stopping to look at it would require some kind of anti-lock braking system.

'Lost' - 'Dr. Linus' Recap

4 hours ago | AOL - TVSquad | See recent AOL - TVSquad news »

(S06E07) Benjamin Linus is one of the most fascinating characters ever put to screen, played with devilish brilliance by Michael Emerson. He positively dominates every scene he's in with those intense, thoughtful and incredibly dangerous big eyes of his. This week, we got to see quite literally two sides of Ben Linus.

Considering that virtually Ben's entire life happened on the island in the alpha-verse, I had been intrigued as to what beta-Ben would be like ever since his first appearance in 'The Substitute' three weeks ago. As I anticipated, our flash-sideways picks up events somewhat shortly after Locke's story.

It also features Locke, as well as a few other familiar faces in new and intriguing roles. At this point, I think I could watch an entire series set in the beta-verse just to see all these people's lives interconnect. It's truly fascinating stuff.

'The Biggest Loser' - 'Week Eight' Recap

5 hours ago | AOL - TVSquad | See recent AOL - TVSquad news »

(S09E08) Poor O'Neal. Apparently, nobody clued him in to who the vulnerable members of the blue team were going into last week's elimination. That meant he could sit there at the house a completely and total emotional wreck for the cameras to zoom in on, fretting that his daughter Sunshine had gone home. How much do you want to bet a producer outside asked the blue team to go into the house with Sunshine last to up the emotional drama.

Gotta wring out those tears however they can!

This week it was all about wringing out sweat in double-time, as Alison dubbed it "Work Week." Contestants had to add an eight-hour-a-day job to their regular exercise routine for one week to give them a taste for what it will be like for them when they get back out into the real world. But first ... why don't you pull that semi? »

Let's talk 'Lost': 'Dr. Linus,' I presume

5 hours ago | The Watcher | See recent The Watcher news »

Let's talk about "Dr. Linus," Tuesday's episode of "Lost," below. The word "gamechanger" gets thrown around a lot, usually by people whose game has not changed. "Dr. Linus" was a lot of things -- a tautly constructed and thus very satisfying episode of TV, an acting showcase for the awe-inspiring Michael Emerson, a heartbreaking story about potential (wasted and otherwise) and personal sacrifice (wasted and otherwise), an hour that filled in some a few gaps in the mythology and so on. So there were a lot of things to enjoy or admire, and it's often the case that really good »

'American Idol' Top 8 women: Didi Benami brings it, Paige Miles lags behind

8 hours ago | Zap2It - From Inside the Box | See recent Zap2It - From Inside the Box news »

There are two relative certainties after the "American Idol" Top 8 women -- that Crystal Bowersox, Lilly Scott and Siobhan Magnus are safe and that Paige Miles is headed home.

The remaining four women's fates are up in the air due to hitherto unseen good performances by the likes of Didi Benami and Lacey Brown, a stumble by the usually good Katelyn Epperly and the fact that Katie Stevens still can't figure out what to do with herself.

The theme of the Top 8 women can be summed up in the word "understated." In several cases that was a good thing and in several cases ... not so much.

Here's our ranking of the night from best to worst:

No. 1: Didi Benami

Kara's assessment that this was one of the best moments of the show so far was spot-on. Didi finally got back to what got her to the Top 24 in the »

The 'American Idol' Watchlist: Will The Guys Mount A Bigger Snoozefest?

8 hours ago | buddytv.com | See recent BuddyTV news »

Well, there's no last-minute schedule swap, so everything is back to normal! Hooray, I guess.

I guess, since we're dealing with the guys again. Yes, I said this before, but I'll say this again (and yes, I said that line before, but I'll say it again): the guys have been disappointing on American Idol this year. Over the past two weeks I never really looked forward to the performances of the guys. I know, some will do good, and some have done good, but they haven't really caught my attention. I think it speaks a lot when I say that last night's lady snoozefest would be much better than tonight. »

'24': Rip Jack Bauer?

8 hours ago | Zap2It - From Inside the Box | See recent Zap2It - From Inside the Box news »

"24's" clock may be ticking down for the last time.

There's been speculation that this eighth season could be the Fox drama's final season, and Variety has decided to sound the show's death knell.

The trade claims that the ax will probably fall within a day or two, especially since the show's cost has been rising and the ratings have been falling.

Oh sure, there's the possibility that other stations might pick "24" up, but with its production cost, it's sounding increasingly unlikely.

A better idea is the "24" feature film, which has been idly kicked around for years, but may have more traction if the show is canceled. As Zap2it reported earlier, Billy Ray's treatment sending Jack Bauer to Europe was received well -- both by Fox film execs and Kiefer Sutherland. High cost, long production schedule? Sounds like a movie to us.

The eighth season of "24" will reportedly »

People power changes network schedules

9 hours ago | TV.com | See recent TV.com news »

TV networks sometimes really do take notice of what we're telling them.

Sometimes when the audience makes their feelings known television networks actually do listen.

The ABC has been forced to take notice of ratings and complaints over two of its shows and it has buckled to pressure.

Fans of Collectors have been unhappy with its new Sunday night time slot this year. It had been pushed out of its long-established Friday night slot to make way for the whodunit show Sleuth 101.

That sent viewers into a tailspin and they let the network know their anger on the...  More >> »
