Hopefully we'll see this game released, though Activision will probably be wanting a share of the profits, which they should have lost all claim to after attempting to kill it off. I actually respect EA a lot more for rescuing this game, good to see them taking so many chances on new ip's rather than relying on yearly "sequels" to generate the cash.

Lots of Activision-related news today. It's going to be a hate-filled day.

I hope that Activision don't get a penny out of Double Fine and that it sells really, really well, just to rub salt in the wound a bit.

The settlement will probably read. Activison Gave up and left Double fine alone or EA would make thier lives miserable. This way they get to save face.

EA have been a great publisher the last 18 months. They released a number of new and risky IP's last year and even without them gaining huge sales (ala Mirrors Edge) they have promised to support them as they see a future for such titles. Only people they have pissed off is PC gamers.
Funny how Activision wants to so quickly fill the shoes of most hated publisher. People must be wise to the whole guitar/DJ hero peripheral crap by now. This so called "platform" keeps releasing updated plastic toys making your old ones redundant. Interesting to see how the new one sells

Maybe they realised that they are really starting to annoy people the way EA do normally as well and that it didnt put them in a good PR light.

Activistion should be ASHAMED of themselves. Shame , bc they let go of what could possibly be a great game , and they know it and double fine is right they ARE trying to kill this game! Its a shame activision is trying to deny the global video game community of a possible classic title , bc why they didnt want to take a chance on it for shame activision . Activision takes home the first annual cb9983 duchebags of the YEAR award congrats to activision for being the biggest duchebags of 2009 for trying this lawsuit what a bunch of jackasses.
