Quantum Theory not PS3 exclusive

I'm not surprised by this. If you're making an exclusive for a console, and you're not a first-party dev, then prepare to suffer if you don't recoup your cash.

I, on the other hand, AM surprised by this. They made a big furore about it being a PS3 exclusive, so this is a genuine shocker for me. Although this does seem to be the way of the world these days, with 'defections' on both sides. The PS3 got Elder Scrolls and Dead Rising, the 360 gets this, DMC and Final Fantasy XIII. No third parties are daring with exclusives any more.

Either way, this looks pretty awesome. It's up high on my purchase list, anyway.

Looking at the screens, the words 'lame' and 'pointless' spring to mind. Wouldn't care if this wasn't coming to the 360.

I don't even recall hearing of this game to be frank. However, my interest is piqued. Let's see what the eventual reviews have to say.

Geez. Even the ammo counter symbol in the top left corner in one of the pics looks like it was copy and pasted out of "GoW 2". Ah well, "GoW 2" is a fantastic FPS, IMO.

This could possibly be my most unanticipated game of 2010.

When you consider the games coming out for both HD consoles next year, you have to feel sorry for Tecmo.

At least now that it is Multi-platform, it stands a fighting chance of selling more than 3 copies.

Let's be honest here. Look at the games it's in competition with. Uncharted 2 and Gears of War. Both established franchises, both really good games. Unless they bring something unique and amazing to the genre it's going to be ignored by everyone.

Does anyone really care anymore about exclusives?I think those days are almost gone, as many software companies have struggled to hit sales targets. Looks a damn fine game though, and Tecmo are a very accomplished developer...Go go Itagaki!
