MAG out January 29

Multiple major retailers have listed the 256-player PS3 exclusive shooter, MAG: Massive, for a January 29 release date.

HMV, Game and Amazon all nail the game's release down for that exact date despite the lack of official confirmation from Sony.

It's the obvious guess, considering it's the Friday of the same week that SCEA has already confirmed for the US release, which sits at Tuesday, January 26. Tuesday is the usual day for releases in US, Friday is ours.

Sony UK is keeping a Euro date to itself for now though, telling MCV: "We still haven't confirmed the release date for MAG, so any dates you may have seen or heard are unofficial at the moment."
