Clever, this. On December 12th at 8:00PM GMT you'll be able to watch a live screening of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Price while Daniel Radcliffe and director David Yates give their live commentary as you go - via PS3.
It's one of those newfangled BD-Live features you get with the Blu-Ray version of the film. As you watch, you'll hear Radcliffe and Yates comment on the film and answer fan questions asked via the internet. All very space-age. We've not used BD Live before, so here's the official explanation:
"Experience this event, exclusive to owners of the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince Blu-ray Disc and hear star Daniel Radcliffe and director David Yates answer your questions during this live screening on December 12th, 2009.
"The worldwide Live Community Screening (LCS) will take place on December 12th at 8:00PM GMT live from London. The screening will allow PS3 owners to simultaneously watch the movie together with Daniel Radcliffe and director David Yates via BD-Live and hear an interactive Q&A; where fans can ask questions about the blockbuster film directly to Daniel and David, directly from their home.
"Warner Bros. BD-Live community members who have registered and signed up for the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince LCS will receive an emailed invitation to participate in the event. The first 100,000 members who RSVP will secure a spot for the screening."
nice to see the blueray platform being used to its advantage. I think Sony have been half bottomd over the past few years because they assumed PS3 would triumph over all!!! This is not the case...xbox and wii have stole the show and Sony are playing catchup in many respects. I honestly thing that xbox is going to win the console war IF they get Natal right!
??? ex box lol still dont see the interest in that nail, horses for courses i suppose.
(not being a fan boy before some toolbox starts. just stating my opinion on the ugly 1 trick pony that ms put out this time and that for some reason people like)
Then again VHS beat off the much better Betamax so suppose people have never had much intelligence.

I guess it's only likeable for the development, the quality of the amount of titles the 360 has too.
For example at game, they sell 493 ps3 games, whereas 360 has 698.
It's just a better console in terms of what you want to play (minus certain exclusives ofc).
