Mass Effect 2 - it's almost as eagerly anticipated as Tricia Helfer dipped in liquid honey in these here parts.
Put simply, we can't wait to uncork the second part of BioWare's Sci-Fi magnum opus.
So Mass Effect 2 probably doesn't need any additional hype, but it's about to get it, as EA and BioWare have just revealed the stars of the voice cast for your delectation.

Highlights include of course the lovely Tricia Helfer of BattleStar Galactica fame, Carrie-Anne Moss of The Matrix Trilogy, Michael Dorn of Star Trek TNG and if that wasn't enough nerdy goodness, only the West Wing President and Apocalypse Now veteran Martin Sheen.
A truly stellar (if you'll forgive the pun or even if you won't) cast. Can't wait.
wow great cast, carrie anne moss and adam baldwin shud be inspired, an asari and human most likely.....tricia helfer everwere in games now seems, Worf from star trek...prob a baddie, he has a great voice.......and totally inspired...Mr Sheen as The Man...awesome that
Impressive voice cast, but where is Lance Henriksen as Admiral of the Fifth Fleet? I like his voice. Ah well, I'm confident his replacement will be up to the task at hand.
I wager that Michael Dorn (aka. "Worf" provides the voice for a Krogan character.
Sooo... Captain Willard, Animal Mother, Worf, Chris Griffin, Trinity, Six, Frank Armitage and Colonel Tigh. Colour me very excited. My inner geek is bouncing off the walls...

Tigh could kick Pressley's bottom and throw him out of the airlock! Seriosuly, Pressley could do with some decent development this time around, more than "Grrr, pesky aliens!" and a brief CV... Same goes for the rest of the Normandy crew. The only NPC crewmen that were properly fleshed out were Joker and Anderson...
Oh, and I see Shepard has been promoted to Captain. Well you'd bloody well hope so after 2 years since becoming the first human Spectre and doing what s/he did at the end of ME1...
