With Thunder Force 4 being one of my favorite games of all time, I was excited by the prospect of the first Soldner x title on PSN.
I bought it and truely hated it as I got all Hulk and passed out with fustration. Way too hard, even on easy, filled with extremely fustrating levels designed to specifically break joypads. Nice soundtrack though.
I hope they tone the difficulty down, but will keep a check on reviews.
I was excited about the original Soldner-X, the excitement was only matched by the disappointment as I realised it was s**t.
Still nothing to touch RType Final unfortunatly, although I'll probably end up buying this cos I'm a sucker who doesn't learn from his mistakes. _________________ PSN : skodabunny

Damn right it was shite, if PSN had offered a demo for it i wouldn't have wasted 4.99 or whatever it cost. Possibly the worst PSN/Live title i've ever bought, 2nd one will defo be getting sidestepped. _________________ The minute God crapped out the third caveman a conspiracy was hatched against one of them
If they sort out the frankly ridiculous difficulty of the first one then I might think about getting this (though it had plenty of other faults as well). Seriously, getting past the first level was an achievement in itself. _________________ Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder.
Loved the first game. Not sure what the fuss is all about with regards to difficulty - its no more difficult than any other game of this genre. Hope the second is as good, and has Raphael Dyll on the soundtrack again. _________________ My Machines...Xbox360(Premium), Ps3(60gb), Ps2, Ps1, Dreamcast, Sega Gamegear, Desktop P.C, Laptop P.C
