In today's Take-Two financial release, the publisher reported that the release of Max Payne 3 will now be later than expected. Yep, it's been delayed again.
Take-Two explained that several titles will be released in 2010, including BioShock 2, Mafia II, Max Payne 3 and Red Dead Redemption. BioShock 2 is on target for a global release on February 9 (phew) while Red Dead Redemption is planned for April 27, 2010.
Mafia II is scheduled to follow during the first half of calendar 2010 but Max Payne 3 "is now planned for release during the fourth quarter of fiscal 2010."
That should see the game launch sometime between summer and autumn next year.
Time stretched out before me like an unending frozen desert landscape. Barren and bleak, its numbing vastness filled my soul like an over extended simile.
It was inevitable, unchangeable. There was nothing left for me to do. There was nothing left for anyone to do.
Nothing but wait.
Hurry up, Max. We miss you, you overblown noir bastard.
this is actually good news,as much as i want to play the game,i wanna play the other thousand that are out at the first quarter...and i guess the developers can make sure its bug free when released
Agree. Don't you dare f**k it up Rockstar Vancouver - hell, take as long as you want with it, but don't let us Max fans down! Unfortunately, Remedy have no input now, so we can only hope... In the meantime, I hope to enjoy Alan Wake...oh but wait, has than not also been pushed back to the year 2034 now???
