Quick question to anyone in the Beta already.
When your playing the Game, does it feel like there is 256 Players in the Game with you and at any during the Game does it culminate in everyone on the battlefield battling it out at the same time?

Me and a friend have actually set up a business selling products to the construction industry. Im in an office in Glasgow city centre on my own, so yeah altitude, I do seem to have quite a bit of time on my hands just now, which is good for being able to use CVG and other sites evey 5 minutes but bad for me and the business.
In fact, you've made me feel bad, im away to do some work just now  .

Being able to spend more time on websites just means that you're good at your job.
That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!
In regards to the game, I have been trying to update it for a week now and it is being a swine - so I haven't tried it yet.
My mate plays it and he swears by it. He said it is actually the best multiplayer game he has played on the PS3 and that people actually use the mics!
Apparently, the commander tells your squad to achieve a particular job on the battlefield and you just get on with it. Usually another 8 man squad is defending your target, so it is a skirmish between you and them. At the same time, there are loads of these little skirmishes going on within the map, all trying to achieve towards total domination.
It sounds great.

I gave up trying to play this beta - the updates are huge and downloads are soooo slow that I gave up. |

Cheers Mark, it does seem pretty interesting and is mos def unique in the console space, one to keep an eye on then.

I entered the beta code I was given and it keeps telling me it is wrong or no longer valid. I know I was typing it in right though. |

You don't need to change your US account, just set up an EU one. Get the address for 10 Downing Street of Google and use that. Make sure you get the postcode, it's like a zip code but useful.
They've really worked on MAG since the beta was launched. It combines the mad gun fights of MW2 with the large scale battles of BC2. With MAG and BC2 (which is also bloody excellent) coming early next year it looks like my online shooters are sorted out for 2010.

Only took about 45 mins for me, and that was at about 7pm last night when you'd expect most people to be back from work installing the thing. Pain in the backside that you couldn't do anything else whilst it was downloading, though.
Downloads for the PS3 seem very inconsistent in terms of speed, don't they?
