Blur reunion documentary set for cinema release next year – video

Blur's 2009 reunion is set to be the subject of a new official documentary about the band.

No Distance Left To Run, named after the band's 1999 single, is set for release on January 19 next year.

The film was directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace (who have directed music videos for bands including Franz Ferdinand before), and follows the band from rehearsals through to their live comeback in Colchester and at London's Goldsmiths College, their headlining performances at the Glastonbury and T In The Park festivals, plus their their own London Hyde Park shows.

If only Blur really did sound this majestic live... and not like a bag of cats being swung against a wall. They used a similar trick in 'Starshaped' - live footage, with studio recordings playing over it.
