It's usually our job to shove cameras and microphones into the faces of unnerved developers, but this time it was us staring into a giant lens after CVG's Andy Robinson went hands-on with Rebellion's Alien vs. Predator.
It's not all Andy's frowning mug - there's plenty of gameplay footage in the trailer too, along with a few words from Rebellion's senior producer, Dave Brickley.
If only people could get our bloody URL right though. One Venezuelan mining company's tech team will be wondering where all the traffic's coming from (see the back of the Modern Warfare 2 box, also).
If this went head to head with Aliens: Colonial Marines I wonder how few Aliens vs Predator games would sell... my guess is about dozen... speaking of which when is Colonial Marines out. I'm really looking forward to the superior Aliens game.
this looks pretty sweet. I was never interested in playing as anyone(thing) except the marine but this has changed my mind. Mind you I am more interested in playing as the marine still as I remember how p**s scared I was when playing as one in an earlier game (can't really remember the exact title ).

lol You must be smokin' something, how can you say one is superior to the other, when neither has come out yet, we've seeen next to nothing about CM, and this looks so good. I'll be getting both, but this looks to have so much more going for it. Can't wait to play.
Hmm, as much as I want this to be great the cynic in me is too aware of Shellshock 2 and the as yet totally unreviewed Rogue Warrior which these guys have both most recently created.
I hope I'm wrong as Aliens is one of my most beloved franchises, until they killed it at the cinema.
Negative. Red glowing barrels, the smell of discharged cordite and the reassuring recoil of an assault rifle as it spits forth hot lead with ear pounding gunfire staccatos...YES SIR!!!

Yeah, what's up with that? I have seen the game in stores since last week and I've looked around various gaming sites. Nada. The closest thing to a review I've found is an empty review section and some outdated previews. It could be a decent game yet too often has a stinker been quietly released and left to die a silent death with no reviews. I won't buy "Rogue Warrior" without some solid reviews or demos - not at full price at any rate.
On topic, I've got more faith in Gearbox to deliver the goods with CM. It seems Sega doesn't share the same faith, maybe they should spend more time looking at Metacritic and less time raping Sonic.
