Prof. Layton and The Mask of Miracles revealed

Fifth Layton game headed for Japan
Level 5 has lifted the lid on a fifth professor Layton game, Professor Layton and The Mask of Miracles, despite the fact that only two have released over here.

The fourth Professor Layton game, Prof. Layton and The Specter's Flute, hit Japanese shops yesterday while us mere Brits still await the release of the third one, Prof. Layton and the Last Time Travel. Are you keeping up with all these titles?

It gets more confusing; Professor Layton And The Mask Of Miracles is the second game in the planned trilogy of Professor Layton prequels, which kicked off with Devil's Flute.

Set for release in Japan in Autumn 2010, this Professor Layton game promises to be fairly different with a major gameplay overhaul, according to reports (via Andriasang).
