We all know another Guitar Hero game is coming, it's just not official yet. But that didn't stop Tesla guitarist Dave Rude from talking openly about it.
Speaking of plans to release a special box set of rare songs, Rude let slip that one of the band's songs, Modern Day Cowboy, will be on the songlist for Activision's Guitar Hero 6.

He goes on to say Activision chose the song. "Honestly, there's some pirate versions of 'Modern Day Cowboy' that people have made up for the game out there. They did ask us what we would request. That was one of our three that we wanted," Rude told BW&BK;.
Just get a good tracklist for once, the last few games have had terrible tracklists. GH3 was the best GH game, along with maybe GH Metallica. No to Coldplay, Jimmy Eat World, Gorillaz etc, Yes to Motorhead, Slipknot, Cream, etc.
Aye and it'll be released in the next few weeks. Just how many Hero games has there been this gen. 6 Guitar ones at least. Talk about milking a franchise. How's about they take a break for at least 1 year and release some decent DLC.
I personally look forward to the day Activision have driven every single one of it's IP's into the ground, and they become a pariah in the games industry, such is their disregard for the industry, the consumer, and anything apart from Bobby Koticks pockets. Their corporate greed in sickening.
After Modern Warfare 2, I'm not buying another Activision product. Voting with my wallet is the only language the likes of Activision understand.
there was a time when activision were a good publisher/developer but it seems the curse of becoming big has made them become so arrogant and complacent they think they can do what every they like... unfortunately people are still buying their products so they keep believing their own hype
Haven't bought any games after world tour. will only buy at the right price with price drops. So GH5 Metallica smash hits and any other new incarnations will not be bought by me at full price!
uh can they milk any more from this franchise? serioulsy, dont bother releasing any more new games because there is no way in hell that there can possibly be any new features to add now. just put the songs on a DLC pack activison, don't bother waisting time ¬_¬
