What could it be? Well that could well depend on Naughty Dog's definition of "awesome". If it's the proper definition of the word then we could end up with new maps, character skins and all kinds of goodies. If it's BioWare's definition, we'll get a website redesign.
It takes to long to level up in multiplayer once you reach about level 25. Plus most games have quitters that leave you or the other side a man down. It had potential but I think the multiplayer isn't going to be very popular for long. Most days you only have about 8000 playing it, and that's just after launch. The perks, guns, maps are just not very exciting.
They've said there will be no co-op DLC as it's a lot of work and would end up with huge downloads.
Bugger! 3 levels just isn't enough, i've finished them a few times over. Hopefully they'll change their minds.
I think the dwindling numbers playing online was more to do with MW2 being released, as there used to be about 15000 playing this but it has dropped to about 8000 in the last few weeks. Hopefully once MW2 fever has died down a bit people will go back to Uncharted now and again.
I know what you mean about quitters but in multiplayer games with smaller teams (the type of games I prefer BTW) loosing a team mate will always be more decisive. This was an issue in Gears and Halo as well. Epic came up with the best solution by replacing a quitter with an AI controlled character, which is a lot better than being a man down. I wish Naughty Dog had of done this also.
