NADotA.com enlightens the North American scene on how to effectively land a sponsorship.
Finding a solid sponsor for a rather unknown North American team is no easy task. One must first acquire specific knowledge, then sometimes spend a great deal of time finding a suitable fit.
With a recent influx of North American DotA teams, the demand for more sponsors is much greater. To make it easier for all North American teams seeking a sponsor, Anthony 'mLine`KiDDo' Giordano of NADotA.com has decided to spare some tips regarding sponsorships in the form of an article. The following excerpt is taken from the article:
There are many organizations out there. How can you still have trouble finding a sponsor? Why aren't any organizations are posting that they're looking for a team to sponsor? There are very simple answers to these questions. You just need to know the right place to go, or the right person to ask. In most cases, the sponsor will not go out of their way to help you, this means that you will most likely have to go to them. |
Disclaimer: Please note that these tips are most effective for North American teams, and may not achieve the same level of effectiveness for European or Asian teams.
