Valve has given details on an "Early Holiday Sale" which sees a selection box of your favourite games going on the cheap.
Section 8, Secret Of Money island, Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood, The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena and Mirror's Egde are the biggies and they're all a fraction of their former RRPs.
That does sound like an excellent deal for "Dead Space". Since I already own it for the Xbox 360 it's not something I would likely have purchased again. I am however going to pick up "Mirror's Edge" for 3.74 Euros! I also sprung for the THQ catalogue this past weekend. I usually don't bother with Steam since the prices are often much higher than buying a retail copy from Amazon or ShopTo, however lately they seem to have "upped" their "game" (no pun intended). When the prices are this low I can live with it being a digital download.
this has been going on for a few days with the dead space for 7.49 being the real star out of the bunch.
EA were doing that for £4.99 from their online store a couple of months back. I thought the real steal was Left 4 Dead for £6.24 on Sat.
nice one.
hey runadumb you liking osmos? playing that with a good set of speakers very loudly is hypnotizing.
Yeah im loving it. Its great to put on 20 mins before bed. Dead relaxing, hell I could just put it on and not play it. Just sit back and enjoy the music and visuals
3 quid for mirrors edge?! and monkey island special edition for a pound and change
Steam meh
Ouh! Thanks for the "heads up". I wasn't aware of the "The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition" deal and since I never played any of the games in that series, and with such a basement bargain price, now is the time to strike. Christmas has indeed come early!

I bought it during the last sale for £3.75 I think and ive been trying to crack through it the last week. I love what they have done with it and at that price is practically free. I warn you though, they have totally ruined the controls. You will be pressing v and I an awful lot. Still, great game
