Spotify headed to consoles?

Stupidly-popular streaming music service, Spotify, is headed to "next gen consoles", claims one internet tipster.

According to the anonymous source, the music service will soon be available through any one of the current systems, including Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii.

"Since Spotify has really propelled into the industry and successfully launched on all sorts of platforms, I thought it'd be best to let you know that we have something in the works for the next gen consoles", said Baxy-Z's own Deep throat.

"We've been working on it for some time now and we can't wait to reveal it to you guys!"

Considering every other internet phenomenon has already hopped on the console bandwagon, this wouldn't be surprising news at all. We'll make some enquiries, and let you know what we hear.

Yeah, Spotify is basically an MP3 streaming service, where you build up your own playlists, with the exact tracks that you want. It's free, but you get an advert every 5 tracks or so, but if you pay �9.99 a month, those adverts are taken out.

As a free service, it's great, plus the quality of the sound is very good.
