4th Ward Ald. Preckwinkle has some room to move up

It's a shocker for sure, but hold on for the reality check. A fresh newspaper poll on the Cook County Board presidential contest reveals that Cook County Circuit Clerk Dorothy Brown is leading the pack. The survey of likely voters in the Feb. 2 primary pegged Brown with 29 percent, 4th Ward Ald. Toni Preckwinkle at 20 percent, incumbent Todd Stroger at 14 percent and Terrence O'Brien, president of the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District, at 11 percent.
