Deadwood - The Complete Series
Based (loosely) on historical events and people, Deadwood set the Western genre on its ear with its outstanding ensemble cast, intricate plotlines, and raunchy but lightning-quick language. In turns both brutal and hilarious, this eight-time Emmy winner presented the Old West in all its gritty glory. Fans were understandably upset when the show was cut short after four seasons, but fortunately it’s available in its entirety with this 19-disc box set.
Three Colors Trilogy
A must-have for fans of French cinema, the Three Colors Trilogy presents Krzysztof Kieslowski's Blue, White, and Red as they were meant to be seen: together. Kieslowski created the trilogy to commemorate the bicentennial of the French Revolution, with each color representing one of the hues of the French flag and the value it represents: liberty, equality, and fraternity. BSG kept us on the edge of our seats as we struggled with questions of loyalty, love, and what it means to be human – or Cylon. When the final episode aired in March 2009, many fans were ready to experience the whole adventure all over again. With the... more

The Double-Daring Book for Girls
We love The Double-Daring Book for Girls (and the other Daring book series) because it shows young girls that there are no limits to what they can do. The book shows them that it's okay for them to want to play outside in the dirt, and also want to play dress up. And we especially like the chapters that show them how to play football, surf, and even hold a Japanese tea ceremony. It... more
