Pixie Lott 'Sims' herself

Leggy singer Pixie Lott duets with herself in English and simlish
Fast-rising popstrel Pixie Lott has become the latest chart act to re-record a song in Simlish, in honour of the expansion pack The Sims 3 World Adventures.

Indeed, she has taken the principle of translating songs into the gibberish-language spoken by The Sims a step further, by creating a version of the song Mama Do in which she duets with herself in English and Simlish.

The enthusiasm among chart-chasing music acts for tapping into The Sims' across-all-ages popularity shows no bounds -- artists who have remade songs with Simlish vocals include Katy Perry, Lily Allen, Black-Eyed Peas, Natasha Bedingfield and Pussycat Dolls.

By far the unlikeliest act to jump on the Simlish bandwagon is Depeche Mode, who recorded a version of the track Suffer Well.

And as usual with any new addition to the Sims franchise, the World Adventures expansion pack comes with a list of accompanying music artists who have tried their hands at crooning in Simlish, including Nelly Furtado, LeAnn Rimes, Katie Melua, Young Punx and the gloriously named but until now thoroughly obscure Natalie Portman's Shaved Head.

Recording in Simlish is undoubtedly a great way of boosting sales if you're a flagship, major-label act, or getting attention if nobody has ever heard of you and, for sure, it's a bit of fun. But we're not convinced it does much for artistic integrity.

UPDATE: We've added the video. Enjoy.

Seriously without being too stalkerish, I could rude and nasty things to that girl! She is just ...... ooohh ...... grrrrrr ....... man I need a sit down.

That's not stalkerish, that's just natural.

Sitting outside her house with your MW2 night vision goggles, monitoring all of the people coming round her house, timing when she goes out and what she has for dinner, that's stalkerish.
Let me know when you get that far Smile
