Danish Crown Prince Frederik and Princess Mary arrived in Iceland on May 5, 2008 for an official visit.

On their first day, Prince Frederik, along with the president of Iceland, Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson, visited Icelandic University, and attended a mini-conference on volcanoes and glaciers, in Askja, Natural Science buildig.
