Owen and Ronnie share a kiss

As Peggy pins up a 'Happy Hour' poster outside The Vic, she spots Archie watching her. Returning inside, Peggy asks Roxy if she's around for the brewery delivery. Roxy agrees to be in for the delivery, while Sam tries to pin up a banner. With that, a drenched Roxy runs down the stairs shouting for Ronnie as the kitchen pipes have burst. Peggy's unhappy that her happy hour can't go ahead, but Ronnie assures her otherwise. Owen walks by and claims that he's a qualified plumber but Ronnie dismisses his advances. Peggy, however, invites him inside to survey the mess. As he does, Ronnie hands him the tools and he questions her indifference towards him. Ronnie says that what he did to Libby is no secret and after she jokes about throwing him out, he admits that he's previously attempted to commit suicide.

Later, Roxy asks Owen to look at one of the beet pumps and when Denise walks in to talk about her wedding reception plans and sees him behind the bar, she questions his presence. Frustrated by Denise's attitude towards him, he angrily returns to the job at hand, splitting a beer pipe in the process. Upstairs, Ronnie sees a soaking Owen looking at a photo of Danielle in The Vic's living room. Handing Owen one of Phil's shirts, they head off to the kitchen where Ronnie quizzes Owen about his feelings for Denise, before asking him about his suicide bid. Talk then turns to Danielle, before Owen goes to leave. As he does, Ronnie takes his hand and says that she doesn't want to be alone. With that, the pair share a kiss, before heading to the bedroom.

Downstairs, Peggy's delighted with the happy hour turnout but she's rattled when she spots Archie and quickly tells him that he's not welcome. Later, Peggy goes through the receipts with Max for the insurance as she's desperate to know when they'll pay out. Peggy leaves Tracey in charge and heads over to see Archie. Pleased to see his wife, they share a kiss and head upstairs…
