Jonathan Ross - 6/11/09
Am I the only one who thinks Robbie is sharing a bit too much. Possibly spent too long in LaLa Land. Not liking him at all which is a shame. I thought he'd be fun but he's just arrogant IMO.

"arrogant"?
Are you sure? He seems as nervous as hell to me. |

In my opinion he's just being open and honest. Where did you get the arrogant bit from, he's just being Robbie to me. If that means arrogant then so be it. |

Far from arrogant.
Just grown up and stopped being an idiot. |

Can't believe the lack of posts for an alleged top BBC show.

He seemed incredibly nervous to me, not arrogant.
I have a feeling he will appear on the X Factor finalé with Take That. |

What?! He was the opposite of arrogant.. I was pretty shocked to see how nervous he was, he always gave off that super confident persona. He seems like a great guy.

I thought he came across as very humble to me.
Think that would boost his popularity. |

I didn't see one bit of arrogance from Robbie actually. He looked nervous but he also looked like he's matured alot and I think it's great to see him happy and in love.

Different strokes for different folks I guess. I thought it all came across as one big act.

He seems very nervous to me but he's still coming across OK - no where near arrogant.
And he is performing very well too. Good on him |

He did look very nervous and very guarded about particular subjects such as the drugs but then you can't really blame him for that. He really clammed up at one point.
But all in all he looks well and happy. This interview will have done his image a lot of good because the x-factor performance was a bit of a shambles really. And several thousand women are now ringing the BBC complaints line. |

The screaming banshees in the audience made it hard to watch for me

I don't think the bloke can win to be honest, if he is upbeat and loud he's being an idiot and arrogant, if he is quiet he's still arrogant.. Not having a go at the original poster I just generally think people want Robbie to fail or not be popular or fall flat on his face, which is a shame.
But as you said, no performer is going to please absolutely everyone. |

He does seem to have matured, and came across as very nervous, but at the same time, he did appear to have lost a bit of his usual spark which was a shame. It was still a good interview though. Shame about the audience
My guess is that by this time next week, he'll have done a performance with Take That (What with the Albert Hall gig being next Thursday) |
