NCIS: Los Angeles has been sold into syndication after just seven weeks on air.

The CBS freshman drama, which stars Chris O'Donnell, LL Cool J and Linda Hunt, has been licensed to USA Network.

Under the deal, which reportedly costs around $2 million per episode, the cable network will be able to begin airing the show weekly beginning in September 2011 and will start stripping the episodes in 2013.

The spinoff series recently debuted to a decent 18.3m for CBS. The latest episode, which aired on Tuesday, pulled in 15.01m.
