10.3m tune in for 'X Factor' Rock Week

The X Factor lost over a million viewers week-on-week for its fourth live performances show on Saturday, the latest viewing figures show.

Rock Week pulled in 10.34m (42.3%) for ITV between 8pm and 9.45pm, down from Big Band's performance last week.

Post-X Factor, Dannii Minogue's appearance on Piers Morgan's Life Stories drew 4.78m (23.7%), topping last week's show, which featured Katherine Jenkins.

Over on BBC One, 5.15m (27.1%) tuned in for Merlin at 6pm, then Strictly Come Dancing averaged 8.43m (36.6%) between 6.45pm and 8.45pm. The Lottery draw put in 4.75m (20%) after Strictly, and 4.51m (18.8%) watched Casualty at 9pm.

Reruns of Porridge and Blitz: The Bombing Of Coventry managed 1.24m (5%) and 1.35m (5.6%) at 8pm and 8.30pm, then a revised repeat of Have I Got News For You drew 2.36m (10.6%) between 9.30pm and 10.10pm.

Channel 4's period drama Land Girls had 650k (2.7%) between 7.45pm and 9.45pm, then 320k (1.6%) watched Beyoncé: For The Record.

Five ran with a trio of CSI repeats. A double bill of New York took 647k (2.6%) and 705k (3%) at 8pm and 8.50pm, then the main show attracted 991k (4.9%) at 9.45pm.

Overall, ITV1 came top during primetime with an average share of 31.5% to BBC One's 28.1%. BBC Two was third with 5.7%, followed by Five's 3.6% and Channel 4 with 2.5% (+1: 0.4%).

Over on the multichannel stations, the Holly Willoughby-fronted Xtra Factor grabbed 749k (4%) between 9.45pm and 10.45pm.
