Horwood wants Louis Walsh for 'Strictly'

Craig Revel Horwood has revealed that he would like Louis Walsh to appear on next year's Strictly Come Dancing.

The judge said that the X Factor star is his ideal candidate to take on the BBC One dance contest.

"He'd be funny. I think he'd be good as well," Horwood told Star magazine.

Walsh admitted in 2007 that he had turned down the chance to feature on the rival reality series after he was briefly axed from Simon Cowell's ITV1 show.

He also reportedly described the programme as "finished" following the Anton Du Beke race row and controversy over Arlene Phillips's departure from the judging panel.
