Interests

I'm a developer involved in some suckless OpenSource projects, including dwm, stali and st.

Apart from technical interestes I like reading philosophical books of the romantic era, playing chess and visiting interesting landscapes and sights.

I have a photo stream at flickr which I frequently update. My photos aren’t artistic or particularly good (to be honest more the opposite), but they just document what I'm up to at weekends and how I live.

Career

I currently work for Aplix Corporation as a software developer for mobile devices.

In the past I worked for FUZZY! Informatik (which now belongs to SAP), RUS-CERT and DANET as a software developer.

I studied computer science at the University of Stuttgart between 2000 and 2006, and graduated with the German degree Dipl-Inf in 2006.

Before that time I used to live near Greifswald (Germany), going to school and working on my own providing some computer help to local customers. I used to run my own BBS and was a fido node during the 90s.

Friends

I have a couple of friends: srm, 20h, Matthias, Uriel, tube, nion, Kai, Gottox, lavish, pancake, Tammo, Stefan, Steffen and plenty others which don’t have a working website right now that I'm aware of.
