Angelina Jolie's 8 year old son dresses as a dead soldier for Halloween...
http://perezhilton.com/2009-11-02-an...better-looking Is it just me or is this hugely inappropriate? Last edited by thats_racist : 02-11-2009 at 21:39. Reason: spelling error |

"8-year-old Maddox went dressed as what appeared to be a dead soldier."
Maybe it was a character that Perez didn't know? Who really cares anyway? |

Why read the thread and then take the time to say you don't care? Don't read it in the first place. |

Some people just want to be offended. Good luck with your attitude.

I'm offended when people dress up as hookers for halloween, it just sends out the wrong message.

I doubt he chose to be a dead soldier, the kid is 8 he probably wanted to be a soldier and a ghost or just copy the white stuff his mum has sprayed in her hair and there's nothing inappropriate about it.

No but his mother is. I'm not questioning the child's decision to wear that costume but his mothers decision to let him.
Personally, I wouldn't want my child to wear it - maybe I'm in the minority. I was simply asking a question - perhaps a simple 'No it doesn't bother me' is beyond some people? |

Doesn't bother me personally; as much as you may think it's offensive, in another way it could be seen as a sort of 'protest' to highlight the want to bring troops back from this war.
Could easily be a character from a programme/film we don't know of. |

Perhaps. I wouldn't say I'm 'offended' I just find it...disconcerting. It just seems so disrespectful.

Funny how you have yet to mention that Brad was there as well. You should chill it is just a halloween costume but because Perez is such a little pr**k he has to make an issue out of it to get publicity.

No I don't think it's inapropriate at all. A mummie is a dead person, a zombie is the living dead. I don't see why it it would offend anyone. |

I've got an 8 yr old niece, when asked what does she want to dress up as for halloween - everything was dead this... dead that... and shes normally a very happy bubbly intelligent girl - full of manners, the works, I think one night of dressing up is hardly a cause for panic.

As it was Halloween, and most of the costumes people wear seem to be based on death, ghosties, zombies, the afterlife, the underworld etc, I suppose it fitted in.
