I read that he is a miserable sod in real life. No personal proof but wasn't that amongst the alleged causes for the past (I think now mended) break up between the Sawalha Sisters

One of those 'celebrities' who enjoy the perks of a successful showbiz career but despise their fans. (Anyone at Chichester Festival recently?) As for Jonathan Creek, well, it has never really recovered from the departure of Caroline Quentin.

I saw him at a restaurant the other day he was in the table next to mine, I'm a big fan of QI and I admit i was curious to see how he was "in real" life. But he Kept staring at me in the most insistent way that I become so shy that I kept the eyes on my plate the all evening.
