She's earning a crust at least, although I wonder when she'll be next on TV in a more stable role, surely Myleene can reliquish SOMETHING

You will all cringe.
Look at her gurning mug in the small photo on the right hand side!

The woman never fails to disappoint - each and every day, she finds new ways of embarrassing herself and making others feel sick. What's all this in Woman magazine about people getting on Internet forums talking about how they want her back on GMTV/back on the TV? I nearly laughed out loud reading the article! Was that a piss take knowing how loathed she is on here, or could there really be a forum, if not an fansite, dedicated to campaigning for her to come back to out screens?

If it wasn't over already that has put paid to her career on any news or current affairs programme as no broadcaster is going to hire her. Looks like Loose Women from now on

Oh my Lord......I don't even think Loose Women would risk putting her on live TV anymore.

The words 'Fiona Phillips' and 'politics' in the same article never fail to send a shiver down the spine

........but then again appointing her to a cabinet role would probably finish off the desperate remnants of Gordy's gormless government once and for all - hooray!!

I could only watch the first 10 seconds, didn't Peter Mandelson use the same comeback 'joke' the other day?

Edit: just watched the rest, she does mention PM used it as well

Fiona Phillips has blasted Channel 4 news anchor Krishnan Guru-Murthy after he mocked her role at the Labour Party conference.

The former GMTV host introduced home secretary Alan Johnson at the Brighton event last Tuesday.

Writing in her column for The Mirror, Phillips revealed: "Apparently, Channel 4's smug Krishnan Guru-Murthy - apologies if you haven't a clue who he is - reckons [i] was 'excruciating'."

She added: "I think it's always best not to take yourself too seriously, Krishnan, don't you? Still, thanks for your constructive criticism.

"Next time I'm asked to do a performance which requires me to be wooden and devoid of any wit or personality, I'll ask for your advice."

Phillips stepped down from GMTV to spend more time with her family last December.

Carole Malone in yesterday's NOTW had a real go at her suggesting she was getting desperate as she's now getting virtually no TV work - worth a look on line if that sort of thing interests you

Hahahaha. Life is tough as a jobbing TV presenter no longer in demand, isn't it, Feef??!

It can end up making you rather bitter and twisted - especially when you electively relinquished a six-figure wage only a few months ago.

Seems the Mirror have removed the ability for online readers to write to Fiona (or any other coloumnists for that matter), to write and tell her what a stupid inane c** she is... dammit!

Yeah, read that in the Mirror on Saturday.

Glass houses, stones and irony came to mind.

Just seen an ad for Olay which did not feature our Queef. Has she been dropped from this ad as well as all TV work?

You mean "OK! TV" (which was obviously a bleedin' lie from the start since it gave gainful employment to the vile Queefster who's several thousand miles from being even "Mmm-hm", let alone "OK ! ").

And you think she was tasty, do you ?

Sicko.

Queefy wouldn't be tasty if you marinaded her with exotic herbs and spices for a week, then roasted her in a slow cooker and flung her to a bunch of starving cannibals.

Might be worth trying just the same mind you. How else can we really know ???

A year after quitting the ITV show, it seems Fi-Fi Phillips is ready to juggle her family life with a career again.

The mother-of-two is set to present a new prime time show on the station over the festive season which tells the story of Christmas. Fi-Fi, speaking to New magazine, explained: 'It's going to be on four Sundays in a row in the run-up to Christmas. It tells the story of Christmas and it's really sweet.'

The 48-year-old, who has two sons with GMTV editor husband Martin, is also doing a show for Sky1 next year called Forces Reunited. Fi-Fi is also preparing to front a new prime time show for ITV later this year. She describes it as like Surprise Surprise for the Armed Forces, adding: 'It is right up my street.'

But asked if she is happy being at home more these days, the former Strictly star said: 'Yes, but I'd be lying if I said I wanted to be a full-time mum, because I don't.

'I adore my sons but I've worked since the age of 11 and need to be stretched.'

*SCREAMS* I thought we'd got rid of the condescending, thoughtless, Gordon Brown arse sucking, useless tw*t from prime time TV... who in their right mind wants to employ her, have they seen what she was like on GMTV!?!
