Should Mr Blooby make a come back?

I say yes, the big guy has been slumming it on ITV & Comic Relief videos of late, meanwhile when hes not working he has to sit at home & watch Noel Edmonds present Deal or No Deal.

I think its time we bought back this much loved icon of British TV back to our screen in a more regular feature. He could present the lottery, or be a new companion for the Doctor, or even be part of the new Watchdog team.

He could also appear in his own reality show called "Being Blobby" in which cameras follow Blobby as trys to get his career back on track.

Blobby worked quite well when the joke was that d-list zelebs had no idea he was a spoof kids TV character.
But the jokes over now - move on.

Mr Blooby?? Has he changed his name??!

My answer would be NO!! Blobby is old news.

It's a shame Noel Edmonds didn't follow his pink spotty friend into total obscurity as well.

as I said "slumming it on ITV" the credit crunch has clearly been hard on Blobby if he is taking ITV work.

We all know that Mr Blobby is real, of course, but isn't/ wasn't Noel Edmonds his 'agent'?

If he's now pimping Blobby out for five minute skits on ITV, his Cosmic Ordering's obviously not going too well at the moment.

I believe there is a market for Mr Bloooby.
We could have a 'son of Bloooby' and 'daughter of Bloooby'.
A whole show of Bloooby related things.
Noooooooooooo!.

The moment Mr Blobby stopped being someone in a costume fo the 'Gotchas' and became a character in his own right is the exact moment that House Party stopped being any good and Noel Edmonds became an insufferable twerp.

There are places good folk should never got to and certain things that should be left in a trunk at the bottem of a deep well in a secret place such as the one I spoke of before.
I vote NO to any come back at any time or any place.

I'd LOVE to know who was in that suit when he came on the screen. I don't suppose we'll ever know.

Mr Blooby sounds kinda rude. I'd almost want to see it. As for Mr Blobby, as much as I loved him in the 90s (so much so I made a papier mache model of him in art class at high school) the 90s is where he belongs. So no more until at least 2090

Probably DLT, Tony Blackburn, Frank Carson or one of the other regulars on Noel's House Party

Those who had any experience of the blobby theme parks would want all copies of that costume incinerated.
