ANother westlife cover. the saddest part is its a sneaky cover, not everyone has heard of daughtry and probably will think its a new one. I used to be a Westlife fan but they are boring now, lads you should've split a long time ago. What a shame the days of World of Our Own are way behind you. Be orignial guys, look a Take That all their own songs with NO covers on their two latest albums. You need to learn from the masters!!!!

All you people who say they are awful! seriously get a life! I'd like to see anyone else get as many number ones or even try to be as successful as westlife i'm 15 and have seen westlife 6 times in concert! they have been amazing everytime. So what if they do covers! Like someones already said even if they wrote this song themselves you would all moan and groan about how they could do better, they are talented vocalists who have millions of fans all over the world and what about now is another sensation! If you think you could do better get up there and do it! Give them a break!

Average at best. They have done too many covers although I still love Mark he makes it what it is. I don't like the original anyway.

its not westlifes fault thay dont manage them self loui and simon wanted them to sing this song and i think they sing it very well and 11 years later they are still going strong thay do a lot of covers but they have got to number 1 just great singers

Absolutely awful. Shameless cover of a brilliant song. They'll take all the credit for this when they've done nothing but just sing over the same music as the original! When will people wake up and see what a ridiculous band westlife are? The music industry is not about stealing songs that aren't yours, or that aren't as well known. The only reason they've covered this song is because it's got popular on X Factor and they just want to get easy money!

I do like Westlife, i'm not their biggest fan but i think they are a great group with good vocals. i was waiting for a great comeback single but yet again they have done a cover version. first off i am not a fan of the song, its annoying but yet catchy. i think westlife do a good job but i can't enjoy it because i'm not a fan of the song.

It was so odd watching X Factor and thinking, "Wait..is this..Daughtry?!" What an odd band to choose to cover. Can't tell if I like it or not.

I actually think some people are pathetic. No matter what Westlife do the people here moaning about them would still hate them and find negative comments to say. If Westlie wote this song themselves these idiots would still be finding fault. The truth is Westlife sang this song amazingly well. They do aot of covers and it sells and makes them money. I you don't like it, don't listen to them. Like that idiot that put "AWFUL AWFUL". That is not someone complaining about a song, that is a Westlife hater regardless. Brad, the one that went on about this being Westife's 62nd cover and they should go in different direction. Why would they do that when they are still shifting albums and making money?

What a cop out! Once more Westlife have no backbone to release their own material after being around for years! Total replica of Daughtrys awesome single. Weslife will now clean up with this song now that it has been used throughout this years X Factor run and they have now performed it in their own right on the show. I would like to see the original do better than this cover but we know that this surely wont happen. I was so angry when I saw them performing this song on Sunday. Move over Westlife and give the space to someone with some credibility.

Love them, no matter whether they sing covers or originals i think they always do a great job. They're talented and well loved. Despite the fact there are always some people being over-critical. Lay off. I'd quite like to hear a few more original tracks to. But im happy with this track :)

I love Westlife bit annoyed that Simon made them do a cover again for the new single!! Original Westlife material is always better than the cover yet Simon always chooses the covers as singles giving Westlife the bad press they get!! SORT IT OUT COWELL!!!!!

I assume this is going to be the same pattern of Westlife's recently - release a below average cover of a song (which hit Number 11 here a couple of weeks ago), then release the album, and release nothing else off it?!! How about releasing something original for a change? I know this will sell well - although I don't think it will be Number 1 (certainly doesn't deserve to be). Yes, it is very clever to cover a song and 10 out of 10 for the marketing and PR, but 0/10 for originality.

the performance was AMAZING! all i can say is that even if its a cover,they definitely made this song better than the original :) i like Daughtry's original rendition of the song but i love the way how Westlife did it as a cover :) i'm frustrated at first knowing that this is a cover but when i heard it and watched their performance,no words can describe the way how they perform it - just AMAZING!!!
