Guaporé or Iténez, river of South America, rising in Mato Grosso State, Brazil, and flowing northwest between Brazil and Bolivia to the Mamoré River (a tributary of the Madeira). The Guaporé is navigable for the greater part of its course of 1,749 km (1,087 mi).
