Miss Frank voted off 'The X Factor'

Miss Frank have become the third act to be voted off The X Factor.

The girl group found themselves in the bottom two with Danyl Johnson after the public vote. As a result, both acts had to perform a song of their choice to win the judges' votes.

Miss Frank were first to perform, and chose to sing 'Love Don't Live Here Anymore'. Johnson followed them with a rendition of 'With A Little Help From My Friends', which he performed in his first audition.

The judges then had to decide who to save. Louis Walsh, who described both acts as "amazing", saved his own act Miss Frank.

Simon Cowell, who was next to decide, said that he had never been so surprised by the bottom two. He described it as a "joke" that his own act Johnson was in the bottom two, and chose to send home Miss Frank.

Minogue was next to vote and decided to send home Miss Frank, leaving Cole with the final vote.

"I'm really confused by the public's decision so I'm going to take it back to their vote," she said. "So I'm going to send home Danyl."

The decision then went to deadlock and the act with the fewest votes was Miss Frank, meaning that they had to leave the competition.

After hearing the decision, Miss Frank promised to stay together, while singer Graziella said: "It's all a bit of a mad rush right now but I want to say thank you to all the judges for giving us the opportunity. Love to everyone."

Their mentor Louis Walsh said: "I hope they stay together as a group. They've got a lot more to give and they're great girls. I love them."

The X Factor continues next Saturday at 8pm on ITV1.
