The team, that is most likely the most trophied in the history of competitive DotA, former Joy, MYM, djooks and the most recent Kingdom, has decided to shut down. The decision has been made public today by Jacob "Maelk" Toft-Andersen, team's long time captain, on DotA-Allstars.com forums.

Quoting Maelk:

We have decided to shut down the team.

Kai has had a desire to play with Ks.int for a long time. Their playstyle fits him perfectly and they have his longtime friend, Levent, and of course KuroKy who is also German, so its an obvious move for him to take. Personally I find them stronger than ever, and with their current form it's probably the strongest lineup there has ever been.

As for the rest of us, Pusher, MaNia- and I have been focusing on the upcoming Europeans Nationscup and playing with an all Danish lineup has rekindled the fun of the game. One of the reasons why we weren't performing in the end, was probably because each of us played and practiced with different teams. Kai with the Germans, Loda with his Swedes, us with our Danes whilst Ben has been more or less busy with school, meaning we had three to four different opinions on how the game should be played, which didn't work out as it has in the past.

As for Loda, I am not sure what he is going to do, but our focus is mainly on the Danish team and our actual lives over the course of the summer, so I doubt we'll be building up anything together.

Was a great ride, but it all fell apart with MYM coming to an end. I wish all of the guys the best of luck in their future teams.

The origins of the team go all the way back to the year 2005, with Maelk and Mania playing together in team Boomtown Odense (BTo). The team won a number of DotA-League seasons in 2006 and after that there started what became a direct predecessor of the famous MYM, team Joy, which won the MYM Pride #3. At the DreamHack Winter 2006, the team played under the MYM tag for the first time and also won that tournament. The team continued to be a formidable presence both online and offline through years 2007 and 2008, by consistently placing in top 3 in more than two dozen tournaments which they attended. The team also revived the old school legend of American DotA, Clinton "FearDarkness" Loomis. Throughout all this time, they battled for supremacy with other legendary teams such as VP, SK, Mouz and recently Ks.int, while maintaining a high level of play, stability and consistency. In 2009, they won their last major tournament King of Kings Championship after beating TPL and Met in the final. The future of most of the team's players is unknown, so far only H4nn1 has found a new team and this is Kingdom's most fierce rival, Kingsurf.International, while Maelk and the rest of the team are preparing for the upcoming European Nations Cup, organised by ESL.
