DotA 6.64 released
6.64, dota, icefrog, released
DotA version 6.64 has been released, with several balance changes and minor hero and item tweaks.
Today, IceFrog presented DotA version 6.64 to the DotA community. Similar to the changes in every other version, adjustments to both heroes and items can be game-altering, although most of the changes in this version are minor tweaks and balances.
Some of the more notable changes in this version is another tweak to Phase Boots and Power Treads due to a previous bug, a slight nerf to heroes like Morphling and the rework of Pudge's Flesh Heap.

Shoes seemed perfectly fine even when phase boots were released. I didnt see anyone QQ'ing about them being imba. Phase boots were cheap and effective for many heros who didn really benefit from the IAS of treads and couldnt farm travels. And everyone INCLUDING heros like CM could afford one, so it was pretty balanced imo. Why try to fix something that aint broken ?

Also, agree that Syllabear wasn't hit hard enough, his bear is ridiculous. Every game I'm like "GTFO with that thing already", lol. Also we needed badly the Pipe nerf, but as far as I'm concerned, the changes go in the right direction.

btw, i realised DotA is getting more & more User-Friendly & Noob-Friendly..
easier to learn & simplier to understand for newbies.. any1 remember 5.84c? no cooldown info, no msg for alot events, deny = 100% no $ no exp, scoreboard wit minimal info etc etc.. | |

imo phaseboots is a lot better for certain gankers, like VS, it now gives +22 dmg.
Also PT got buffed, coz it's now 350gold cheaper and only gives 5 less ias. | |||||||||||||
