The widow of a pilot killed in a mid-air collision with a helicopter over the Hudson River filed a wrongful death lawsuit Friday.
Pamela Altman is suing tour company Liberty Helicopters, along with the helicopter's owner Meridian Consulting and its manufacturer.
The suit claims Liberty and Meridian have a history of accidents and that the manufacturer failed to equip the helicopter with sufficient safety equipment.
Steven Altman's plane crashed with a tour helicopter in August, killing nine people.
NY1 reached out to Liberty Helicopters for comment Friday.
