Jon Young's books on tape

Hi,

I am glad to find Jon Young's web site!

I completely recommend listening to Jon Young's books on tape. I found that Jon speaks well, he's informative, the information is so pertinent to life yet rare, it's inspiring and he also has a good sense of humor.

My boyfriend happened to listen to the tapes too and he is also now a loyal fan.

Excellent interview, Jon

Excellent interview, Jon Young creates a special atmosphere when talking. I live in Chile and we have similar responses from kids when working in nature. Unfortunately few teachers understand the beauty of learning in the outdoors.

Nature Deficit Disorder

Thank-you Jon Young for being there!
As part of my doctoral research, I reflected on how so much of my social, emotional and intellectual well-being is dependent on being outside every day, and drawing from the energy of nature.
If that is true for teachers, it certainly is for students!
