Carol Fitzgerald is co-Founder and President of The Book Report Network (TBRN) --- a group of eight Internet sites about books and authors that have become the gathering places for a large and devoted community of booklovers since 1996. With programming for adults at Bookreporter.com, reading groups at ReadingGroupGuides.com, Christian readers at FaithfulReader.com, teens at Teenreads.com and children at Kidsreads.com ---- and graphic novels for readers of all ages at GraphicNovelReporter.com, TBRN is recognized as an online leader of informed, contemporary book news, reviews, and author interviews. Monthly more than 1,600,000 unique visitors come to the Network.  

The company's Authors on the Web division provides web development and Internet Marketing for authors and publishers. To date the Company has built websites for more than 190 authors and publishers and implemented Internet Marketing programs for more than 200 titles. One of her true joys is working with authors and watching them build an audience of readers.

Prior to founding TBRN, Carol spent 17 years at Conde Nast Publications, where she developed broad-based marketing, promotion and publicity programs. She has a B.A. in Communications from Fordham University.

For GraphicNovelReporter.com she develops editorial plans and writes blogs and commentary.

John Hogan is the former editor-in-chief of Pages magazine and has worked in the book industry, in one form or another, for nearly 15 years. He is also a freelance writer and reviewer. A native of Iowa, he grew up reading comics and graphic novels and continues to find them an exciting and mesmerizing format for storytelling.

Sunil Kumar graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in Philosophy. His first venture into technology was back in the pre-Internet ’90s when he worked at a small start-up company producing interactive children's storybooks on CD-ROM. He has since worked as a web developer at an online food magazine as well as the user-interface developer at an Internet start-up building online applications. Sunil's background includes all aspects of website creation, and he is currently moving into development and support of content management systems as a way to offer more scalable and flexible options to clients of The Book Report Network. He joined the Company in 2000.

Producer/ Associate Graphic Designer

Alexandra Cannon is a recent graduate from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. Along with a BFA in illustration, she is a self-taught website designer with a personal passion for keeping up with today’s rapidly evolving website development trends. At The Book Report Network, she assists in the design, coding and maintenance of several ongoing projects, including GraphicNovelReporter.com, Teenreads.com and Kidsreads.com, as well as several author websites.

Wiley Saichek began working in the book industry while he was still a student, assisting novelists Chelsea Quinn Yarbro and Suzy McKee Charnas with Internet publicity projects, volunteering for The Book Report Network's chat rooms and message boards and interning at Tor Books. After graduating from the University of Houston-Victoria, Wiley joined The Book Report Network full-time. As Marketing Director, he develops and oversees Internet Marketing campaigns for the company's author and publisher clients.

Nicole Bruce graduated from DePauw University in 2006 and moved to New York City to attend the NYU Summer Publishing Institute and work on her Master of Science in Publishing at the NYU School of Continuing and Professional Studies. While enrolled in the master's program, she interned in the publicity and marketing department for Bloomsbury Children's Books and Walker Books for Young Readers. Upon completing her degree in 2008, she joined The Book Report Network as a Marketing Associate, where she works on Internet Marketing campaigns for authors and publishers.

Cristina Costales graduated from Villanova University in 2008 with a B.S. in Business Administration. While at Nova, she majored in Marketing and minored in Communications and International Business, spending a semester in Barcelona, Spain. During her junior year, she interned in the public relations department at 160over90, a full service marketing and communications agency based in Philadelphia. After graduation, Cristina interned at Bloomsbury Children’s Books and Walker Books for Young Readers doing marketing and publicity before joining The Book Report Network in February 2009. She now coordinates advertising and promotion campaigns with publishers and authors for Teenreads.com, Kidsreads.com and GraphicNovelReporter.com.
