Seinfeld Reunion
my home page had a story about a possible seinfeld reunion. forgive me for my assumptions, but i figured a lot of you would be fans of the show. the reunion is going to take part on Larry David's new show Curb Your Enthusiam and will span across some 5 episodes

That's chapter 1, would you like to have chapter 2? You better you son of a bitch, I know the way.
Yeah I bet getting the reunion together will be the arc of this season on Curb.
Awesome, I love Seinfield.

And still we dig these trenches

I can watch an episode I have seen 10 times and it's still better than anything else on TV now.
I misspelled Seinfeld. Fail.

Cartwright?! ... Cart-wright!...
But you're not Cartwright...
Of COURSE I'm not Cartwright!

So apparently there are some anonymous Seinfeld haters in the house.

Does it count as a "new show" if it's in its seventh season?

But I have never laughed once at Seinfeld. I find it rather trite. Kind of like Three's Company for the 21 century.
Arrested Development - now that is genius.
"Are you Bluish? You don't look Bluish..."
Agreed. Arrested Development is outstanding, and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is probably the funniest show on tv today.
I haven't heard of it. I will have to check it out.
"Are you Bluish? You don't look Bluish..."
To each his own, I suppose I can see how someone wouldn't like Seinfeld, but to equate it with Three's Company, one of the dumbest shows in history, is a massive fail. Arrested Development is great for sure, but Seinfeld is one of the greatest comedies ever done for television.
"You can't out-act me boy. Don't even try."
In three's company - the plot was always the same. There was some sort of misheard statement, or misread situation. Then the whole episode (all lines, all jokes) focused around this one misunderstanding. Each episode was built on this one thing. The show never changed - just a different situation for each one. By the end, the situation blows up in some capacity and the 70's style hilarity ensued.
In Seinfeld, there is a situation that is MINORLY humorous (usually some sort of misunderstanding or strange social situation). It is introduced, then they proceed to drive it in the ground for the whole episode. Every single joke stemming from the same thing. By the end, the misunderstanding is uncovered and then the situation is somewhat resolved - until the next misunderstanding or situation. What almost made me smirk at the beginning has run its course by the end - and grown quiet stale.
That is how I relate them. Does this still constitute a massive fail?

Love Seinfeld, reeeaallly don't care for Larry David, or his show. I know he was the "creator" of Seinfeld, but Curb Your Enthusiasm just doesn't do it for me. He did ok playing some camio's in Seinfeld, but yeah...
Edit: Awesome, I get negged for not liking a show... Didn't say it sucked, just that I don't care for it. This is surely what the point system was created for.

Look to the cookie, Elaine...look to the cookie!
If Skip Gates or Officer Crowley had just looked to the cookie, then there would have been racial harmony at the White House "beer summit."
Curb Your Enthusiasm is the funniest show on TV, followed closely by Eastbound and Down. Arrested Development was the second best until it was canceled (why?). This reunion will be awesome and I will be subscribing to HBO again on September 20th. There will be a lot of TV watching come fall, with the new Curb, the new Top Chef, and the new Ultimate Fighter with Rampage, Sugar Rashad and Kimbo. Oh, and FOOTBALL!
IMHE
