Sheffield Homes was set up by Sheffield City Council in 2004 to transform the city’s council housing. We provide award-winning landlord services to 42,000 households. We are the largest Arms Length Management Organisation (ALMO) in the country, delivering £669million worth of investment to modernise local homes. Our services have received the very best 'Excellent, 3 Star' rating from the Government.
 
Thanks to Sheffield Homes, over two thirds of Council homes in the city now meet the Decent Homes standard
In partnership with Sheffield Homes Area Boards and the Sheltered Advisory Panel (SHAP), Sheffield City Council has launched a new initiative for Council estates across Sheffield in 2009/10.
