Flock Extensions and Toolbars

Extend your Flock browser to feel like home and do exactly what you need with Flock extensions and toolbars.

Me.dium

Me.dium reveals the hidden world of people and activity behind your Flock browser. With Me.dium you and your friends can see each other moving around the internet. You can surf the web together, for the first time, in real-time.

You can also meet new people interested in the same stuff as you - even ask them questions and start discussions. And you'll discover new websites based on the activity of other Me.dium users with the same interests as you.

Screenshot

Based on the excellent Firefox Screengrab from Andy Mutton, this Flock extension allows you to save webpages (entire, visible portion, selection) as png or jpg images. You can save these images to your file system, the clipboard or even send them straight to the photo uploader.

Unlike some, this extension does NOT require Java (JRE) for saving webpage screenshots. However, JRE is needed to capture entire windows or flash heavy sites - get the free Java Runtime Environment from here (scroll down) and read the Java vs Canvas page.

MORE EXTENSIONS

The extensions featured here are only a small, Flock-specific collection. There are many, many other extensions developed for Firefox that will work in Flock. These are available at addons.mozilla.org.

As long as they are designed to work in Firefox 3, they should install successfully in Flock 2. Some extensions affect the performance of Firefox and Flock. We cannot guarantee speedy or functional Flock performance if you have extensions installed, so we suggest choosing your extensions wisely.

UPLOAD EXTENSIONS

Extensions.flock.com currently only supports extensions and themes designed specifically for Flock.

If you've developed an extension or theme for Flock, please contact extension-submission at flock.com with the title, description, and .xpi of your extension. We will review the submission and contact you with a confirmation or denial.
