Tony Flores and Dani DollIt feels so good to be home. Not that LA was bad or anything, but I'm glad to be around my local compadres and sleep in my own bed.

From June 5-7, the Fango staff and I took over the Jacob Javits Center on Manhattan's West Side and immersed ourselves in the glory that is the Weekend of Horrors (New York Style!!).

Sunday in LA: It’s The Final Countdown

For shame. Just when I was getting used to LA and beginning to feel comfortable, I had to check out of the hotel and go to the LA Convention Center one last time.

I began with speaking with the fans on the webcast. Some were happy to see me, other could care less (thanks guys). After talking with the fans, I went scouring for guests. I brought on Corpsy from GIRLS AND CORPSES MAGAZINE, and also had a chance to speak to Bill Johnson, aka Leatherface from TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE 2.

Saturday in LA: The more things change…

Another amazing day in LA. Beautiful weather, filling breakfast, what more can a guy ask?

A majority of the day consisted of working the entirety of the convention. I began with filming the HISSS panel (from what I saw, totally worth the price of admission, if only for the incredibly beautiful Mallika Sherawat). From there, I ran downstairs and filmed the LAID TO REST panel and the ITALIAN MASTERS OF HORROR panel, hosted by Mistress Bekah.

Friday in LA: Surrealist setting in, Fango Convention Day #1

Man is it nice in LA. Woke up this morning and they actually have sun here, it’s wild. Went for a nice walk to the LA Convention Center and began the marathon that is the FANGORIA Weekend of Horrors.
