    Gordon may have received a promise from the Pistons for an offer worth $11 million per year, the Chicago Tribune reports.
    The rumor could not be confirmed because negotiations don't officially begin until July 1, however it does reportedly stem from Gordon's agent. Gordon is looking to sign with a team that has a chance to win a championship, and the Pistons would fit the bill.
  • 06/17/09 - 8:10AM ETMartell Webster : (Foot) On the Mend
    Webster (foot) continues to rehab this offseason, but still hasn't been cleared to run or jump, the The Oregonian reports.
    Webster showed up at the Blazers practice facility following Tuesday's draft workouts and participated in shooting drills. The Blazers will be cautious with Webster as he rehabs, but he's expected to be ready for training camp.

  • 06/16/09 - 1:45PM ETHidayet Turkoglu : Magic Ready to Pay Luxury Tax
    The Magic are willing to pay the luxury tax needed to open up the space needed to keep Turkoglu on the roster, the Miami Herald reports.
    Turkoglu, a key component in the Magic's Finals run, would leave a gaping 16.8 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 4.9 assists per game hole in the team's starting front court should he not return.

  • 06/15/09 - 10:22AM ETHidayet Turkoglu : Opting Out of Contract
    Turkoglu will opt out of the final year of his contract on June 30 and become a free agent, the Orlando Sentinel reports.
    As it stands now, the Magic are hoping to avoid paying the luxury tax next season, but team president Bob Vander Weide said that accommodations could be made to bring Turkoglu back into the picture. Turkgolu was third on the team in scoring (16.8 points per game) while leading the Magic in minutes played (36:36/game) in 77 games this season.
