New Thriller from AMERICAN PSYCHO scribe...

Order AMERICAN PSYCHOAMERICAN PSYCHO author Bret Easton Ellis has completed an original screenplay for Myriad Pictures and RKO Pictures' Roseblood genre arm.

According to Variety, the "story centers on an awkward social outcast who, after being humiliated by a group of peers, exacts revenge by taking them hostage, with dire consequences."

Brad Furman (THE TAKE) is set to direct.

Uwe Boll talks Festivals, DARFUR at Cannes

Did you know that Fango blogger Chris Alexander once boxed Uwe in Canada? Well, in his former life as a writer for that wacky bunch at Rue Morgue, he went head-to-head with DAS BOLL, and... lost.

But that's not the point of this. Uwe Boll is currently at The Cannes Film Festival shopping a 6-minute promo for his latest foray into real-life horror, DARFUR. The folks at Movieset sat down with the legendary director of POSTAL, IN THE NAME OF THE KING, and the classic 2003 film HOUSE OF THE DEAD for a video interview which we've got below.

First art, synopsis for GRIMM

GRIMMOmega Entertainment has updated their official site with early details on their upcoming film starring Bruce Willis.

SAW VI wraps, begins post...

SAW VILast week we pointed you in the direction of a couple of SAW VI updates (here and here) direct from the blog of series editor-turned-director Kevin Greutert.
